Rain clouds threaten sweeping over Black Hill on the Pennine Way. Black Hill was once the highest point in Cheshire before local government reorganisation, in 1974, placed it on the boundary between Yorkshire and Derbyshire. Altitude 852m (1,909 ft ) . The trig point is called Soldiers lump.
